A National Level Technical Fest Conducted by the Students Of P.Indra Reddy Memorial Engg. College On March 19 & 20th, 2009

Cognizance Its literal translation in English is "Awareness". It has participation from colleges all over India.

Cognizance-09 is an inter-collegiate National festival wherein colleges from all over India are eligible to participate. The scope of this festival is ever widening with eminent people being called for lectures and the level of competition ever increasing.

Cognizance has witnessed participation from various technical institutes and companies from across India. It includes exhibitions, workshops, competitions, research project presentations, lectures by eminent personalities and much more.

Cognizance 2009 is going to be held on March 19th-20th, 2009. This year Cognizance is taking another big leap & garner the maximum competition and participation .

These events present a multitude of challenging scenarios with a perfect blend of individual skill, intellect and teamwork. They are carefully designed to test the mental acumen without compromising on the originality and creativity of the students.

In addition to tickling the creative side of the budding minds, Cognizance this year helps support the global cause for Think Energy,Go Green!. With a rich legacy of honing engineering talent and harboring fierce competition, Cognizance is all set to explore the boundless possibilities of the human mind.

Being a cardinal part of Cognizance '09, the paper presentations, which is the axis of any research work. It provides a platform for students to showcase original research papers or reviews of latest research and encourages students to display the creative essence in them.

A wide array of topics has been chosen for various departments with each department having 2-3 cells of presentation on prominent areas of their stream.

A plethora of events, The sheer multitude of the events that take place provide a challenging platform for the largest congregation of the widest range of students to test their mettle against the best in the Nation.

This festival also contains the national level college gaming event in India attracts all gaming folks from every part of India.
